Key Responsibilities
- Consult with clients and project managers to understand photography requirements, artistic vision, and project objectives for both event and commercial assignments.
- Plan and execute on-site photography sessions for various events (corporate, social, weddings, etc.) and commercial shoots (products, lifestyle, portraits, architecture).
- Operate and maintain professional-grade camera equipment, lighting setups, and other necessary gear.
- Demonstrate strong creative direction, composition, and technical proficiency in lighting to produce high-quality images.
- Capture both candid and posed shots, ensuring comprehensive coverage of events and compelling imagery for commercial purposes.
- Manage digital workflow, including image ingestion, culling, selection, and organization.
- Perform advanced post-production editing, retouching, and color correction using industry-standard software (e.g., Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop).
- Ensure timely delivery of edited images and final photographic assets in specified formats.
- Maintain professional communication and rapport with clients and Career.zycto team members throughout projects.
- Adhere to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards set by Career.zycto and its clients.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a professional photographer with a strong portfolio showcasing both event and commercial work.
- Proficiency with professional DSLR/Mirrorless camera systems, lenses, and accessories.
- Expert knowledge of lighting techniques, both natural and artificial (strobes, continuous lights).
- Advanced skills in photo editing software, particularly Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop.
- Strong understanding of composition, color theory, and visual storytelling.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet tight deadlines.
- Reliable transportation for on-site assignments across Red Hills, Kingston, and surrounding areas.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree or certification in Photography, Visual Arts, or a related field.
- Experience with videography and video editing is a plus.
