Key Responsibilities
- Operate company-provided vehicles safely and efficiently to transport goods to various locations within Kingston and surrounding areas.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicles, ensuring they are in optimal working condition and reporting any mechanical issues promptly.
- Load and unload goods, ensuring secure packaging and proper handling to prevent damage during transit.
- Verify cargo against delivery manifests and obtain necessary signatures upon delivery and pick-up.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, road safety regulations, and company policies.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance logs.
