Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine laboratory tasks, including preparing reagents, media, and samples accurately.
- Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment such as centrifuges, pH meters, spectrophotometers, and microscopes.
- Conduct experiments following established protocols and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Record, organize, and analyze experimental data meticulously, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Assist senior researchers and scientists with experimental setup, execution, and data interpretation.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environment in accordance with all safety regulations and guidelines.
- Monitor inventory of lab supplies and reagents, and assist with ordering when necessary.
- Document all experimental procedures, observations, and results clearly and precisely in lab notebooks or electronic systems.
- Participate in team meetings, contributing to discussions and offering insights where appropriate.
- Adhere strictly to quality control standards and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and report significant malfunctions to senior staff promptly.
- Engage in continuous learning and professional development to enhance scientific knowledge and technical skills.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biomedical Science, or a related scientific field.
- Strong foundational knowledge of general laboratory techniques and safety protocols.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
- Proficiency in basic data entry and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
