Southern Sun Maputo is seeking a Conference Support Aide to join our bustling team. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in setting up and dismantling conference rooms, including arranging tables, chairs, audio-visual equipment, and presentation materials according to event specifications.
  • Provide on-site support to conference delegates and organizers, addressing minor technical issues (e.g., projector setup, microphone checks) and directing inquiries.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of conference areas before, during, and after events.
  • Replenish supplies such as water, stationery, and other consumables in meeting rooms.
  • Liaise with the catering team to ensure timely delivery and setup of refreshments and meals for events.
  • Act as a point of contact for external vendors and suppliers during event setup and breakdown.
  • Support the events team with administrative tasks, including preparing delegate packs and registration materials.
