We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Logistics Coordinator with a strong focus on warehouse management and delivery operations to join our dynamic team. As a key professional, you will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of goods from our warehouse to various delivery points. Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching of goods.
- Manage and maintain accurate inventory records using relevant software systems, conducting regular stock counts and reconciliations.
- Plan and schedule delivery routes for optimal efficiency, considering factors such as distance, time, and cost.
- Liaise with internal departments, suppliers, and transportation providers to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
- Monitor and track shipments from dispatch to delivery, proactively addressing any delays or issues that may arise.
- Prepare and process all necessary shipping documentation, including invoices, packing lists, and customs forms.
- Negotiate freight rates and service agreements with carriers to ensure cost-effective transportation solutions.
- Implement and enforce health and safety regulations within the warehouse environment.
- Analyze logistics data to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance operational performance.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints related to deliveries and logistics effectively.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Logistics Coordinator or similar role (minimum 3 years)
- Strong understanding of warehouse management principles and practices
- Proficiency in inventory management software and supply chain systems (e.g., ERP, WMS)
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- Certification in Logistics or Supply Chain Management (e.g., CSCP, CTL)
- Experience with international shipping procedures and customs regulations
- Knowledge of lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies in logistics
