Career.zycto is actively seeking a highly motivated and experienced Logistics Coordinator to join our dedicated team in Spanish Town. This professional role is pivotal in managing and optimizing the flow of goods from our warehouse facilities through to final delivery, ensuring operational excellence and client satisfaction across all our client engagements. As a Logistics Coordinator specializing in warehouse and delivery, you will be instrumental in overseeing daily logistics operations, coordinating seamlessly with internal teams, external suppliers, and a network of transport providers. Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and monitor all inbound and outbound logistics operations, including warehousing, transportation, and delivery.
- Schedule and oversee daily delivery routes, optimizing for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Manage inventory control, ensuring accurate stock levels and preventing discrepancies.
- Liaise with suppliers, carriers, and internal departments to ensure timely and accurate shipments.
- Track and trace shipments, providing regular updates to relevant stakeholders and resolving any issues or delays proactively.
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive logistics documentation, including shipping manifests, invoices, and customs declarations.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols and company policies within the warehouse and during delivery operations.
- Analyze logistics data to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.
- Utilize logistics software and systems for planning, tracking, and reporting.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of logistics processes and procedures.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Logistics Coordinator or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of logistics software (e.g., WMS, TMS) and MS Office Suite.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Problem-solving aptitude with a keen eye for detail.
- Understanding of supply chain management and warehouse operations.
