Key Responsibilities
- Assemble, install, and commission new machinery and mechanical equipment according to specifications and safety guidelines.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on all manufacturing machinery to ensure optimal performance and extend equipment lifespan.
- Diagnose mechanical faults and perform efficient repairs on various industrial machines, including presses, conveyors, and automated assembly lines.
- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to guide assembly, repair, and maintenance tasks.
- Conduct precision fitting and alignment of machine parts, components, and sub-assemblies.
- Utilize a variety of hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and environmental regulations and company policies.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and part replacements.
- Collaborate with engineers and production supervisors to identify and implement improvements in machine performance and operational efficiency.

Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Machine Fitter or similar mechanical role in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and excellent troubleshooting skills.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
- Competency in using a wide range of hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments.
