Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor crushing, screening, and washing plants efficiently and safely.
- Manage heavy equipment such as excavators, wheel loaders, and bulldozers for material handling and stockpiling.
- Conduct routine pre-shift inspections, fluid checks, and perform minor maintenance tasks on machinery to ensure operational readiness.
- Monitor plant performance, identify operational bottlenecks, and make necessary adjustments for optimal efficiency and product quality.
- Ensure strict adherence to all site safety regulations, company policies, and environmental standards.
- Report equipment malfunctions, safety hazards, and production issues promptly to supervisors and relevant teams.
- Maintain accurate records of production data, equipment usage, and maintenance logs.
- Collaborate effectively with the maintenance team for scheduled servicing and more complex repairs.
- Assist in general site housekeeping and ensure the plant area is clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Load and unload materials as required, ensuring proper material segregation and quality control.
Required Skills
- Proven experience (minimum 2 years) operating heavy quarry machinery (e.g., crushers, screeners, loaders, excavators).
- Strong understanding of quarrying processes, aggregate production, and material handling techniques.
- Proficiency in conducting pre-operational checks and basic equipment troubleshooting and minor repairs.
