Key Responsibilities
- Execute photographic assignments for events (e.g., weddings, corporate functions, concerts, festivals) and commercial projects (e.g., product photography, brand campaigns, real estate, portraits).
- Consult with clients to understand their vision, requirements, and desired outcomes for each project.
- Plan and prepare for shoots, including scouting locations, ensuring proper lighting, and managing equipment.
- Operate professional camera equipment and accessories with expertise.
- Direct subjects and models effectively to achieve desired poses and expressions.
- Perform post-production tasks, including culling, editing, retouching, and colour correction using industry-standard software.
- Ensure timely delivery of high-quality, edited images in specified formats.
- Maintain and manage photographic equipment, ensuring it is in excellent working condition.
- Adhere to project timelines and client agreements.
- Proactively seek feedback and continuously refine photographic techniques and style.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in professional-grade camera equipment and lighting techniques.
- Expertise in Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, or other professional editing software.
- Strong understanding of composition, lighting, and colour theory.
- Proven experience in event photography, capturing candid moments and key highlights.
- Demonstrable experience in commercial photography, including product or brand imagery.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
- A strong online portfolio showcasing diverse photography work.
Preferred Qualifications
