Key Responsibilities
- Skillfully cut, trim, bone, grind, and prepare various types of meat (beef, poultry, lamb, pork) according to specifications and customer orders.
- Operate and maintain butchery equipment, including saws, grinders, slicers, and knives, ensuring safe and efficient use.
- Adhere strictly to all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations (HACCP principles) to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Receive, inspect, and store meat deliveries, ensuring proper rotation and minimizing waste.
- Package, label, and display meat products attractively and accurately.
- Provide exceptional customer service, offering expert advice on meat cuts, cooking methods, and preparation tips.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering and stock management to ensure product availability.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the butchery area, tools, and equipment at all times.
