Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, guiding them through the mortgage application documentation process.
- Meticulously collect, verify, and organise all required client documentation (e.g., payslips, bank statements, identification).
- Ensure all submitted documents meet lender-specific criteria and regulatory compliance standards.
- Liaise effectively with lenders, solicitors, and other third parties to expedite the application process and resolve queries.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records within our CRM system.
- Support senior Mortgage Advisors in preparing and packaging comprehensive mortgage applications.
- Communicate application progress and documentation requirements clearly and proactively to clients.
- Assist in resolving any documentation-related issues or discrepancies promptly.
- Adhere strictly to FCA regulations, data protection policies, and company compliance procedures.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for documentation processes and client support.
Required Skills
- CeMAP qualification (or equivalent recognised mortgage qualification).
- Proven experience in mortgage advisory or a related financial services role focusing on client support and administration.
- Exceptional organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
