As an Insurance Agent at Career.zycto, you will play a crucial dual role encompassing both proactive sales and supportive claims assistance. Key Responsibilities
- Proactively identify and cultivate new client leads through networking, referrals, and community engagement within Montego Bay and surrounding areas.
- Conduct thorough needs analyses with prospective clients to understand their insurance requirements and financial goals.
- Present, explain, and sell various insurance products, including life, health, auto, home, and business insurance, tailoring solutions to individual client needs.
- Achieve and consistently exceed sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Prepare accurate quotes, proposals, and policy applications, ensuring compliance with company and regulatory standards.
- Provide exceptional post-sales service, including policy reviews, updates, and client relationship management.
- Assist clients diligently through the claims process, from initial reporting to final settlement, ensuring clear communication and support.
- Gather and submit all necessary documentation for claims, liaising with claims adjusters and internal teams.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of insurance products, industry trends, and regulatory changes.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development programs provided by Career.zycto.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 18 months proven experience in sales, customer service, or a client-facing role.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to build rapport and establish lasting client relationships.
- Goal-oriented with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications (Microsoft Office Suite, CRM software).
- Valid Jamaican driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle for client visits.
- High level of integrity, ethics, and professionalism.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in the insurance or financial services industry.
- Possession of a valid insurance sales license in Jamaica (or willingness to obtain one swiftly upon hire).
- A Bachelor's degree or Associate's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
- Fluency in Patois in addition to English, to effectively serve a diverse client base.
