Key Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and applying necessary primers or waterproofing membranes.
- Measure and cut tiles accurately to fit specific areas and designs, minimizing waste.
- Apply adhesive evenly and install various types of floor tiles (ceramic, porcelain, natural stone, mosaic, etc.) with precision.
- Ensure proper alignment, spacing, and leveling of tiles, using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Apply grout and sealant neatly, ensuring a waterproof and durable finish.
- Remove and dispose of old flooring materials and debris responsibly.
- Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations on all job sites.
- Communicate effectively with clients, project managers, and other team members.
- Maintain tools and equipment in excellent working condition.
- Inspect finished surfaces for quality and address any imperfections.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Floor Tiler with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
- Expertise in surface preparation, including leveling and waterproofing.
- Proficiency in cutting and shaping various types of tiles using manual and power tools.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality craftsmanship.
- Strong understanding of different adhesives, grouts, and sealants.
