Key Responsibilities
- Perform professional mixing of multi-track recordings, balancing all elements (vocals, instruments, effects) to create a clear, impactful, and cohesive sound.
- Execute high-fidelity mastering processes, including equalization, compression, limiting, and stereo imaging, to achieve commercial loudness and sonic clarity.
- Collaborate with artists, producers, and internal teams to understand project vision and deliver audio that meets creative and technical specifications.
- Utilize advanced digital audio workstations (DAWs) and a comprehensive suite of plugins and hardware for mixing and mastering tasks.
- Conduct quality control checks and perform critical listening to identify and correct sonic imperfections, ensuring final masters are flawless.
- Manage and organize project files, session data, and asset libraries efficiently.
- Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices in audio engineering, mixing, and mastering.
- Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support related to audio production.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of audio workflows and quality standards.
Required Skills
- Expert proficiency with industry-standard DAWs (e.g., Pro Tools, Logic Pro X, Ableton Live, FL Studio).
- Comprehensive knowledge of mixing and mastering principles, techniques, and tools.
- Exceptional critical listening skills and a refined ear for sonic detail and balance.
- Strong understanding of audio signal processing, acoustics, and psychoacoustics.
- Proficiency with various audio plugins (EQs, compressors, reverbs, delays, exciters) and hardware processors.
