Key Responsibilities
- Consult with clients to understand their specific photographic needs, vision, and deliverables for events or commercial projects.
- Plan and execute on-site photography sessions for various events (e.g., weddings, conferences, parties) and commercial shoots (e.g., product, lifestyle, corporate branding).
- Utilize professional-grade photography equipment, lighting, and composition techniques to capture high-quality, engaging images.
- Perform comprehensive post-production work, including culling, editing, retouching, and color correction using industry-standard software.
- Ensure timely delivery of final edited images in specified formats, adhering to client deadlines and quality standards.
- Manage and maintain personal photography equipment, ensuring it is in excellent working order.
- Proactively communicate with clients and Career.zycto project managers throughout the project lifecycle.
- Develop and maintain an organized archive of all photographic assets.
- Adhere to professional etiquette and client confidentiality at all times.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 2 years of professional photography experience in both event and commercial settings.
- Proficiency with professional DSLR/mirrorless cameras, lenses, and external lighting equipment.
- Expert-level knowledge of Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop for image editing and retouching.
- Demonstrable strong portfolio showcasing a range of event and commercial photography work.
- Excellent composition, framing, and lighting skills (natural and artificial).
- Exceptional client communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to various shoot locations within Coopers Pen, Falmouth, and surrounding areas.
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree or diploma in Photography, Visual Arts, or a related field.
- Experience with videography and video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro).
- Familiarity with drone photography and relevant licensing.
