Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently operate a company-provided vehicle for the transportation and delivery of goods.
- Plan and execute delivery routes to ensure timely and accurate deliveries to customers and partners.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, documenting any issues or maintenance needs.
- Accurately complete delivery logs, invoices, and other relevant documentation.
- Load and unload goods with care, ensuring proper handling and securing of cargo to prevent damage.
- Maintain a clean and organized company vehicle at all times.
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, representing Career.zycto professionally.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and management regarding delivery status, delays, or issues.
- Assist with warehouse duties, such as sorting, packing, or inventory checks, as needed.
Required Skills
- Valid General Driver's License (Jamaica)
- Minimum 2 years of professional driving experience in a logistics or delivery capacity.
- Clean driving record with no major violations.
- Strong knowledge of Mandeville and surrounding areas/routes.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift and move packages up to 50 lbs.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- High degree of responsibility and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience with route optimization software or GPS navigation systems.
