Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, check, and process a variety of shipping and customs documentation, including bills of lading, commercial invoices, and packing lists.
  • Ensure all documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant with relevant international trade regulations and customs procedures.
  • Accurately input data into freight management systems and maintain up-to-date records.
  • Communicate effectively with internal departments, clients, carriers, and customs brokers to resolve queries and provide updates.
  • Track and monitor shipment statuses, updating relevant parties on progress and potential delays.
  • Organize and maintain both physical and electronic filing systems for all documentation.
  • Assist with the preparation and submission of customs declarations as required.
  • Identify and escalate any documentation discrepancies or issues to senior colleagues for resolution.
