In this role, you will be responsible for the accurate and efficient packaging of various food products according to specified guidelines and quality control measures. This involves operating basic packaging machinery, inspecting products for defects, ensuring correct labeling, and preparing items for shipment. Key Responsibilities
- Accurately pack food products into designated containers, boxes, or bags according to specifications.
- Perform visual inspections of products for quality defects, damage, or inconsistencies before and during packaging.
- Operate and monitor basic packaging machinery, ensuring smooth and efficient operation.
- Apply correct labels, date codes, and other necessary markings on packaged items.
- Strictly adhere to all food safety (HACCP), hygiene, and sanitation protocols and procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation throughout shifts.
- Promptly report any equipment malfunctions, product quality issues, or safety concerns to supervisors.
- Assist with inventory counts, material handling, and loading/unloading as required.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to meet daily production targets and deadlines.
- Follow all company policies and procedures related to safety, quality, and operational efficiency.
