Key Responsibilities
- Execute precise bricklaying, blocklaying, and stonework to structural and aesthetic specifications.
- Install various types of tiles (ceramic, porcelain, natural stone) on floors and walls, ensuring perfect alignment and finish.
- Prepare surfaces meticulously, including cleaning, leveling, and applying primers or waterproofing membranes as required.
- Mix and apply mortar, grout, and adhesives correctly, considering material types and environmental conditions.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine layout, materials, and procedures.
- Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently, including levels, trowels, tile cutters, grinders, and mixers.
- Ensure all work adheres to building codes, safety regulations, and company quality standards.
- Collaborate effectively with site managers, other tradespeople, and project stakeholders.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, managing waste and materials responsibly.
- Identify and resolve issues related to materials, techniques, or site conditions proactively.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Mason or Tiler, with a strong portfolio of wall and tile finishing projects.
- Proficiency in various masonry techniques, including bricklaying, blocklaying, and rendering.
- Expertise in tile installation for diverse materials and patterns.
- Strong understanding of building codes, construction methods, and safety procedures.
- Ability to accurately read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Excellent physical stamina and manual dexterity.

Preferred Qualifications
- NVQ Level 2/3 in Trowel Occupations (Bricklaying) or Wall & Floor Tiling.

- A valid UK driving license and access to reliable transport.
