Key Responsibilities
- Lead engaging and safe yoga classes tailored to various skill levels (e.g., Vinyasa, Hatha, Restorative, Gentle Yoga).
- Develop and implement creative class sequences that challenge and inspire participants.
- Provide clear, concise, and constructive verbal cues and demonstrations.
- Offer modifications and adjustments to accommodate individual needs and limitations.
- Maintain a welcoming, inclusive, and supportive environment for all students.
- Arrive punctually for all scheduled classes, prepared and ready to teach.
- Engage with students before and after class to build community and address questions.
- Uphold the studio's standards of professionalism, cleanliness, and safety.
- Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities as required.
Required Skills
- Minimum 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training (YTT) certification from a recognized institution.
- Proven experience teaching a variety of yoga styles to diverse groups.
- Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and yoga philosophy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt teaching style to accommodate different student needs.
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
Preferred Qualifications
- Additional certifications (e.g., 500-hour YTT, specific styles like Prenatal, Yin, or Trauma-Informed Yoga).
- Experience with studio management software.
- A demonstrated commitment to ongoing personal and professional development in yoga.
- Ability to teach workshops or specialized programs.
- Proficiency in German is a plus, but not required.
