Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain laboratory equipment, glassware, and instruments, ensuring they are clean, sterilized, and in optimal working condition.
- Assist senior researchers in conducting various scientific experiments and procedures following established protocols and safety guidelines.
- Accurately record, organize, and manage experimental data in laboratory notebooks and digital systems.
- Perform routine quality control checks on reagents, solutions, and equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability of results.
- Manage laboratory inventory, including ordering supplies, receiving shipments, and ensuring proper storage of chemicals and materials.
- Ensure strict adherence to all laboratory safety regulations, waste disposal procedures, and quality assurance standards.
- Support sample preparation, processing, and handling for analytical testing and long-term storage.
- Troubleshoot minor equipment malfunctions and report any significant issues to the appropriate personnel for resolution.
- Collaborate effectively with team members, participate in team meetings, and contribute to a positive and productive work environment.
- Assist in the preparation of summaries, reports, and presentations of research findings as needed.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biomedical Science, or a closely related scientific field.
