Key Responsibilities
- Perform live DJ sets at various events, including clubs, festivals, corporate functions, and private parties.
- Curate diverse and engaging playlists tailored to specific event themes, audience demographics, and client briefs.
- Operate professional DJ equipment, including turntables, CDJs, mixers, and controllers, ensuring optimal sound quality.
- Maintain a vast and current music library across multiple genres, adapting to new trends and classic favourites.
- Engage with the audience, read the room, and adjust musical selections to maintain an energetic and positive atmosphere.
- Conduct sound checks and coordinate with sound engineers and event managers to ensure seamless technical setup and execution.
- Arrive punctually for events, prepared with all necessary equipment and a professional demeanour.
- Troubleshoot minor technical issues with equipment during performances.

Required Skills
- Minimum 2 years of professional DJ experience in live event settings.
- Proficiency with industry-standard DJ software (e.g., Serato DJ, Rekordbox, Traktor Pro).
- Expert technical mixing, beatmatching, and scratching abilities.
- Extensive knowledge of multiple music genres and sub-genres.
- Exceptional crowd reading and engagement skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a professional work ethic.
- Ability to adapt to various event styles and client requirements.
- Own professional DJ equipment (e.g., laptop, headphones, controller/mixer – venue provides main sound system).
