Key Responsibilities
- Execute precise welding operations using various techniques (MIG, TIG, MAG, electrode welding) on different materials (steel, stainless steel, aluminum).
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and welding specifications (WPS).
- Prepare materials for welding, including cutting, grinding, and cleaning components.
- Inspect welded joints and structures for flaws, defects, and conformity to quality standards.
- Operate and maintain welding equipment and tools safely and efficiently.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations, company policies, and quality control procedures.
- Collaborate with engineers, fabricators, and other team members to ensure project deadlines and specifications are met.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot minor issues on welding machinery.
- Document work performed and report any discrepancies or issues to supervision.
Required Skills
- Proficient in multiple welding processes (MIG, MAG, TIG, E-Hand).
- Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and welding symbols.
- Solid understanding of various metal properties and appropriate welding consumables.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety protocols and procedures.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic mathematical skills for measurements and calculations.
- Physical stamina to perform demanding tasks, including lifting and working in various positions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Valid welding certifications (e.g., EN ISO 9606-1).
- Experience with robotic welding systems is a plus.
- Forklift or crane operator license.
- Previous experience in a heavy industrial manufacturing or construction environment.
- German language proficiency (B1 or higher).
