Uroa Bay Beach Resort is seeking an Entry-Level Social Media Content Creator to join our dynamic marketing team in Chwaka, Zanzibar. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the creation of engaging and visually appealing content (photos, videos, graphics, text) for our social media channels (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X).
- Brainstorm new and creative content ideas that align with resort promotions, events, and brand voice.
- Help manage content calendars and schedule posts to ensure consistent and timely delivery.
- Monitor social media trends, tools, and applications, and apply relevant insights to improve our content strategy.
- Engage with our online community by responding to comments and messages, under guidance.
- Collaborate with the marketing, events, and resort operations teams to gather content and execute campaigns.
- Participate in content planning meetings and contribute to overall social media strategy.
- Ensure all content adheres to brand guidelines and maintains a high standard of quality.
- Support in analyzing social media performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and growth.
Required Skills
- Basic understanding of major social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X).
- Fundamental knowledge of content creation tools (e.g., smartphone photography/videography, basic editing apps).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (Swahili is a plus).
- Strong creativity and an eye for aesthetics and detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and trends.
- Proactive attitude and strong organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Diploma or Certificate in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
