Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine and preventative maintenance on railway tracks, switches, and crossings.
- Inspect track infrastructure for defects such as rail breaks, cracks, gauge irregularities, and alignment issues.
- Conduct repairs, including rail welding, sleeper replacement, ballast regulation, and track levelling.
- Operate and maintain specialized railway equipment and machinery (e.g., tampers, rail grinders, track measurement devices).
- Diagnose and rectify faults in track components and associated equipment.
- Adhere strictly to all railway safety regulations, operational procedures, and environmental guidelines.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.
