Key Responsibilities
- Lead engaging and informative tours for individuals and groups, showcasing the best of Havendale, St. Andrew, and broader Jamaican attractions.
- Share comprehensive knowledge of local history, culture, ecology, landmarks, and current events in an entertaining and accessible manner.
- Ensure the safety and comfort of all tour participants throughout the duration of the tour.
- Manage tour logistics, including timing, transportation coordination, and adherence to planned itineraries.
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing guest inquiries and concerns professionally and promptly.
- Adapt tour narratives and routes as necessary to cater to diverse group interests and unforeseen circumstances.

- Collect and provide feedback on tour experiences to contribute to continuous improvement.
Required Skills
- Fluent in English (verbal and written)
- Extensive knowledge of Jamaican history, culture, geography, and current affairs, particularly St. Andrew and surrounding parishes.
- Exceptional public speaking and storytelling abilities, with a clear and engaging communication style.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a proven ability to connect with diverse groups of people.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to think on your feet and adapt to unexpected situations.
- Valid Jamaican driver's license with a clean driving record (if driving tours).
- Current First Aid and CPR certification or willingness to obtain it.
- Strong sense of responsibility and professionalism.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency in additional languages (e.g., Spanish, French, German).
- Certification or diploma in Tourism, Hospitality, or a related field.
- Previous experience working as a tour guide or in a customer-facing role within the travel industry.
