Career.zycto is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Therapist specializing in Counseling & Mental Health to join our growing team in the vibrant Covent Garden area of London. Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive initial assessments to determine client needs and formulate appropriate treatment plans.
  • Provide individual, couples, and group therapy sessions using a variety of evidence-based therapeutic approaches (e.g., CBT, DBT, psychodynamic, humanistic).
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment goals and regularly review progress with clients.
  • Maintain accurate, confidential, and up-to-date client records in compliance with professional and ethical standards.
  • Collaborate with other team members in case consultations and contribute to a multidisciplinary approach to client care.
  • Engage in continuous professional development, including supervision and ongoing training.
  • Adhere to all relevant ethical guidelines and professional standards set by regulatory bodies.
  • Provide crisis intervention and refer clients to appropriate external services when necessary.
  • Contribute to the positive and supportive culture of Career.zycto through active participation in team meetings and initiatives.

Required Skills

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related mental health field.
  • Full professional registration/licensure to practice as a Therapist or Counselor in the UK (e.g., BACP, UKCP, HCPC).
  • Proven experience delivering therapy sessions to diverse client populations.
  • Proficiency in various therapeutic modalities and evidence-based practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and empathetic listening skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage a caseload effectively.
  • Commitment to ethical practice and client confidentiality.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Specialization or advanced training in specific areas such as trauma, addiction, or family therapy.
  • Experience working in a private practice or community mental health setting.
  • Membership in relevant professional associations.
  • Experience with online therapy platforms and delivering remote sessions (in addition to on-site).
