Key Responsibilities
- Perform a wide range of garment alterations, repairs, and customisations, including but not limited to hems, seams, waist adjustments, sleeve modifications, and intricate re-stylings.
- Conduct thorough and professional fittings with clients, providing expert advice on garment fit, style, and potential alterations.
- Operate and maintain industrial and domestic sewing machines, overlockers, and other tailoring equipment efficiently and safely.
- Ensure all work is completed to the highest standards of quality, precision, and craftsmanship within agreed-upon timelines.
- Manage and organise tailoring supplies, inventory, and materials, ensuring availability for ongoing projects.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe workspace at all times.
- Provide exceptional customer service, building rapport with clients and ensuring their complete satisfaction.
- Stay updated with current fashion trends, tailoring techniques, and fabric innovations to continuously enhance skills and service offerings.
