Key Responsibilities
- Investigate, research, and report on news stories from conception to publication/broadcast.
- Conduct interviews with sources, officials, and community members, both planned and impromptu.
- Attend press conferences, public meetings, and events, often outside standard office hours.
- Develop and maintain a strong network of contacts within the community and relevant sectors.
- Write accurate, balanced, and engaging news articles, features, and reports under tight deadlines.
