Key Responsibilities
- Execute high-quality photography assignments for various events (corporate, social, conferences, product launches) and commercial projects (product, lifestyle, branding).
- Collaborate closely with clients and event planners to understand project briefs, objectives, and specific visual requirements.
- Manage pre-production tasks including equipment preparation, location scouting, and shot list development.
- Operate professional camera equipment, lighting, and other photographic accessories to achieve desired aesthetic and technical results.
- Perform extensive post-production editing, retouching, color correction, and image optimization using industry-standard software (e.g., Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop).
- Ensure timely delivery of edited images in specified formats and resolutions, adhering to agreed-upon deadlines.
- Maintain professional conduct, punctuality, and a positive attitude during all assignments.
- Manage and maintain personal photography equipment, ensuring it is in excellent working condition.
- Proactively identify and suggest creative approaches to enhance visual storytelling and client satisfaction.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a professional photographer, specifically in events and commercial projects.
- Expert proficiency with professional-grade DSLR/Mirrorless cameras, lenses, and lighting equipment.
- Advanced skills in Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop for post-production editing and retouching.
- Strong understanding of composition, lighting principles, and color theory.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients and subjects.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines.
- A strong, diverse portfolio showcasing relevant event and commercial photography work.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to various locations within St. Catherine and surrounding parishes.
Preferred Qualifications
