Key Responsibilities

  • Safely and efficiently transport materials, components, and finished goods to designated areas using pallet jacks, forklifts (after certification), or other material handling equipment.
  • Load and unload delivery trucks, verifying quantities and inspecting for damage.
  • Monitor production lines to ensure a continuous supply of raw materials, preventing bottlenecks and downtime.
  • Organize and maintain inventory in storage areas, ensuring accurate labeling and easy accessibility.
  • Assist with routine inventory counts and stock rotation.
  • Follow all safety protocols and company policies rigorously to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other departments regarding material needs and issues.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support production and warehouse operations.

Required Skills

  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly.
  • Basic understanding of safety procedures and willingness to adhere to them.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Reliable and punctual.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment (even if not material feeding specific).
  • Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking.
  • Willingness to learn and operate various material handling equipment.
  • Forklift certification (not required for hiring, but a plus).
