Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport materials, components, and finished goods to designated areas using pallet jacks, forklifts (after certification), or other material handling equipment.
- Load and unload delivery trucks, verifying quantities and inspecting for damage.
- Monitor production lines to ensure a continuous supply of raw materials, preventing bottlenecks and downtime.
- Organize and maintain inventory in storage areas, ensuring accurate labeling and easy accessibility.
- Assist with routine inventory counts and stock rotation.
- Follow all safety protocols and company policies rigorously to maintain a safe working environment.
- Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other departments regarding material needs and issues.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support production and warehouse operations.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Basic understanding of safety procedures and willingness to adhere to them.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
