Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently set up and dismantle the market stall, ensuring an attractive and inviting display of products.
- Actively engage with customers, providing comprehensive product information, answering questions, and offering personalized assistance.
- Accurately process all sales transactions using point-of-sale systems or handling cash, ensuring proper change and record-keeping.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked stall throughout all operating hours, adhering to visual merchandising standards.
- Monitor inventory levels on the stall and communicate replenishment needs or stock discrepancies to management promptly.
- Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and resolve minor issues or complaints professionally and courteously.
- Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations applicable to retail and food handling environments.
- Proactively promote special offers, new arrivals, and upsell products to maximize sales opportunities.
- Collect valuable customer feedback and report on market trends, popular products, or competitor activities to inform strategy.
- Ensure an exceptional level of customer service at all times to foster repeat business and cultivate a positive brand image.
- Contribute to a positive team environment by assisting colleagues and participating in team meetings.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in a retail, sales, or customer service role (minimum 6 months is preferred).
