Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Logistics Coordinator with a strong focus on warehouse management and delivery operations to join our client’s team in Waterford, Portmore. As a pivotal member of the supply chain, you will be responsible for orchestrating the efficient flow of goods from receiving to dispatch, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and cost-effectiveness. Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching goods.
- Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics activities, ensuring timely and accurate delivery schedules.
- Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular stock counts, and reconcile discrepancies to maintain data integrity.
- Liaise with suppliers, transporters, and internal departments to facilitate smooth and efficient movement of products.
- Prepare and process all necessary shipping documentation, including invoices, waybills, and customs forms.
- Implement and enforce health, safety, and security standards within the warehouse environment.
- Utilize inventory management systems (IMS) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) software to track and report on logistics performance.
- Analyze logistics data to identify areas for improvement and implement optimization strategies.
- Manage a team of warehouse staff and delivery personnel, providing training, guidance, and performance evaluations.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues related to deliveries and logistics promptly and professionally.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Logistics Coordinator or similar role with a strong focus on warehouse and delivery.
- In-depth knowledge of supply chain processes and logistics best practices.
- Proficiency in inventory management software (IMS) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of interacting with diverse stakeholders.
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Certification in Logistics or Supply Chain Management (e.g., CILT).

- Knowledge of local transportation regulations and customs procedures in Jamaica.
- Forklift operation certification.
