Career.zycto is actively seeking a dedicated and reliable Driver to join our thriving logistics and delivery team based in Naggo Head, Portmore. As a Driver with Career.zycto, you will be responsible for the timely and secure transportation of goods across various routes, utilizing a company-provided vehicle. Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate and maintain company vehicles for the transport and delivery of goods.
- Plan and execute efficient delivery routes, adhering to strict schedules and deadlines.
- Load and unload goods with care, ensuring accurate documentation for all deliveries.
- Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles, reporting any mechanical issues or damage promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance.
- Interact professionally and courteously with customers, confirming deliveries and addressing any concerns.
- Comply with all local traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations.
- Handle cash or process payments for delivered goods as required, ensuring proper accounting.
- Assist with warehouse duties, sorting, and staging of packages for delivery when necessary.
- Represent Career.zycto with professionalism and integrity at all times.
Required Skills
- Valid General Driver's License (Class C or equivalent)
- Minimum of 2 years of professional driving experience
- Clean driving record with no major accidents or traffic violations
- Excellent knowledge of Naggo Head, Portmore, and surrounding areas
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to lift and move packages up to 50 lbs.
- Proficiency in basic vehicle maintenance checks
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills
- Reliable, punctual, and highly responsible work ethic

- Defensive Driving Certification
