As an Entry-Level Logistics Documentation Clerk, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and timely processing of all logistical paperwork. This involves handling a variety of documents essential for shipping, receiving, and inventory management. You will gain hands-on experience with Bills of Lading, invoices, packing lists, customs declarations, and other critical forms. Your day-to-day tasks will involve meticulous data entry, maintaining organized physical and digital records, and assisting with general administrative duties to support our busy logistics department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately process and maintain a variety of logistics documents, including Bills of Lading, packing lists, invoices, and customs forms.
  • Perform precise data entry into logistics management systems to track shipments, inventory, and other critical information.
  • Organize and maintain both physical and digital filing systems for all shipping and receiving documentation.
  • Communicate effectively with internal departments, suppliers, and carriers to resolve documentation discrepancies and ensure timely deliveries.
  • Assist in preparing daily, weekly, and monthly logistics reports and summaries.
  • Verify the accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipment details against documentation.
  • Support the logistics team with general administrative tasks as needed to ensure smooth operations.
