Key Responsibilities
- Clean and tidy all assigned guest rooms and public areas, ensuring they meet the hotel's rigorous cleanliness and hygiene standards.
- Change bed linens and make beds neatly, replenish towels, and restock amenities according to hotel procedures and guest preferences.
- Vacuum carpets, sweep and mop hard floors, dust and polish furniture, and meticulously clean windows and mirrors.
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize bathrooms, including toilets, showers, bathtubs, sinks, and floors, ensuring all fixtures sparkle.
- Empty waste bins and dispose of rubbish and recycling materials in designated areas following environmental guidelines.
- Report any maintenance issues, damage, or missing items in rooms or public areas to the housekeeping supervisor immediately to ensure prompt resolution.
- Handle guest requests promptly and courteously, ensuring their satisfaction and addressing any concerns professionally.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked housekeeping cart and storage areas at all times.
- Adhere strictly to all health and safety regulations, using cleaning chemicals safely and correctly with appropriate personal protective equipment.
- Collaborate effectively with other hotel departments, such as front desk and maintenance, to ensure a seamless guest experience.
- Perform deep cleaning tasks, special projects, and assist with laundry duties as scheduled or required by management.
