Key Responsibilities

  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, including invoice entry, vendor payments, and customer billing accurately and promptly.
  • Assist with bank and account reconciliations to ensure accuracy, identify discrepancies, and support their resolution efficiently.
  • Maintain organized and accurate financial records, both physical and digital, adhering strictly to company policies and industry standards.
  • Prepare and process employee expense reports, ensuring full compliance with company policies and timely reimbursement.
  • Support the preparation of various financial reports, statements, and analyses as needed by senior accounting staff.
  • Perform precise and efficient data entry tasks into accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and other financial systems.
  • Communicate professionally and effectively with vendors and customers regarding payment inquiries, account status, and general financial matters.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary financial information and ensure smooth inter-departmental operations.

Required Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent education.
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and fundamental financial concepts.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, for data management and basic analysis.
  • Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in all tasks, particularly data entry.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal, with internal team members and external stakeholders.
  • Proactive and eager to learn new systems, processes, and industry best practices within a dynamic environment.
  • Ability to work both independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively as part of a cohesive team.

Preferred Qualifications
