Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine preventative maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment, machinery, and systems.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, electrical faults, and mechanical breakdowns.
  • Execute timely and effective repairs to minimize downtime and ensure operational continuity.
  • Install, calibrate, and test new machinery and equipment in accordance with technical specifications and safety standards.
  • Read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory of spare parts.
  • Adhere strictly to all safety regulations, company policies, and industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to optimize equipment performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Participate in emergency response and on-call rotations as required.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to junior technicians or operational staff.

Required Skills

  • Diploma or Certificate in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Factory Technician, Maintenance Technician, or similar role.
  • Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing electrical systems (e.g., motors, PLCs, control circuits).
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and rotating equipment.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and operational manuals.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Commitment to safety and ability to work in industrial environments.
  • Valid driver's license.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
  • Experience with high-voltage systems and power distribution equipment.
  • Certification in specific industrial equipment or safety protocols (e.g., Lockout/Tagout).
  • Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
