Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment, machinery, and systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, electrical faults, and mechanical breakdowns.
- Execute timely and effective repairs to minimize downtime and ensure operational continuity.
- Install, calibrate, and test new machinery and equipment in accordance with technical specifications and safety standards.
- Read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory of spare parts.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations, company policies, and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to optimize equipment performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Participate in emergency response and on-call rotations as required.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior technicians or operational staff.
Required Skills
- Diploma or Certificate in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Factory Technician, Maintenance Technician, or similar role.
- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing electrical systems (e.g., motors, PLCs, control circuits).
- Strong mechanical aptitude and experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and rotating equipment.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and operational manuals.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Commitment to safety and ability to work in industrial environments.
- Valid driver's license.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
- Experience with high-voltage systems and power distribution equipment.
- Certification in specific industrial equipment or safety protocols (e.g., Lockout/Tagout).
- Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).
