You’ll work closely with concept artists, 3D modelers, game designers, and front-end developers to ensure seamless integration of your animation into the final product, maintaining artistic consistency and technical fidelity. This role demands not just technical proficiency in industry-standard software, but also a keen eye for detail, a deep understanding of animation principles like timing, spacing, and weight, and a strong sense of storytelling through motion.
Your daily tasks will involve everything from intricate keyframe animation and robust character rigging to creating compelling visual effects that enhance narrative and producing captivating motion graphics that convey complex information simply. Key Responsibilities
- Develop high-quality 2D and 3D animations for various digital projects including characters, environments, and special effects.
- Collaborate with art directors, modelers, and designers to ensure animation aligns with project vision and technical requirements.
- Create and implement character rigs, ensuring they are functional, efficient, and meet project needs.
- Interpret storyboards and creative briefs into dynamic and expressive animation sequences.
- Participate in feedback sessions, iterate on animation, and optimize assets for performance and visual quality.
- Maintain consistency in animation style, quality, and technical specifications across projects.
- Contribute to the development of animation pipelines and best practices.
Required Skills
- Proven proficiency in industry-standard animation software (e.g., Autodesk Maya, Blender, Adobe After Effects).
- Strong understanding of animation principles (timing, spacing, weight, anticipation, etc.).
- Excellent portfolio showcasing a range of animation styles and technical abilities.
- Solid understanding of anatomy, kinematics, and character mechanics.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
