Job Description
Career.zycto is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Logistics Coordinator with a strong focus on warehouse operations and delivery management to join our team in Mammee Bay, Ocho Rios. This professional role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of goods from our warehouse to our valued customers, both locally and regionally. You will be instrumental in managing day-to-day logistics activities, optimizing supply chain processes, and maintaining high standards of inventory accuracy and delivery timelines.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, order picking, packing, and dispatch.
- Coordinate and schedule all inbound and outbound deliveries, optimizing routes and maximizing vehicle utilization.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through regular cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, company policies, and quality standards within the warehouse.
- Liaise with suppliers, transporters, and internal departments to resolve logistics-related issues promptly.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for warehouse and delivery operations, identifying areas for improvement.
- Implement and maintain efficient documentation for all logistics activities, including waybills, manifests, and customs forms.
- Utilize logistics software and systems to track shipments, manage inventory, and generate reports.
- Train and supervise junior warehouse and delivery staff, fostering a culture of teamwork and efficiency.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing supply chain efficiency and reducing operational costs.
Required Skills
- Minimum 3 years of progressive experience in logistics, warehouse management, or supply chain operations.
- Proven experience with inventory management systems and logistics software.
- Strong understanding of warehouse best practices, including safety and security protocols.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to operational challenges.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of interacting with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
