Career.zycto is seeking an innovative and passionate UI Designer to join our thriving team in Schwerin, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. In this full-time role, you will be a pivotal force in shaping the visual language and interactive experiences of our cutting-edge digital products, spanning web, mobile, and desktop platforms. As a UI Designer, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including UX researchers, product managers, and software engineers, throughout the entire product development lifecycle. From initial concept generation and user flow mapping to detailed wireframing, prototyping, and final high-fidelity mockups, you will own the visual design aspect, ensuring consistency and brand integrity across all touchpoints. Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop intuitive, engaging, and visually appealing user interfaces for web, mobile, and desktop applications, ensuring consistency across all platforms.
- Translate complex user stories and product requirements into elegant and functional wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups using industry-standard design tools.
- Collaborate effectively with UX researchers, product managers, and front-end developers to ensure technical feasibility and optimal user experience from conception to implementation.
- Develop and maintain design systems, style guides, and component libraries to ensure brand consistency and streamline the design and development process.
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and A/B testing, and interpret data to inform design decisions and iterate on existing interfaces for continuous improvement.
- Present design concepts and rationales clearly and persuasively to stakeholders, actively participating in design critiques and incorporating feedback where appropriate.
- Stay abreast of the latest UI/UX trends, tools, and best practices, continuously seeking opportunities to enhance our design processes and product offerings.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in UI design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
- Strong portfolio showcasing a breadth of UI design projects, including web and mobile applications.
- Solid understanding of user-centered design principles, usability, and accessibility standards.
- Experience with creating and maintaining design systems and component libraries.
- Excellent visual design skills with a strong sense of typography, color, and layout.
- Ability to create interactive prototypes for user testing and presentations.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate design choices effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience with motion graphics or animation for UI elements.
- Familiarity with front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to understand technical constraints.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
