Your day will involve processing deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and other financial requests with accuracy and confidentiality. Key Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including deposits, withdrawals, cheque cashing, and loan payments.
- Maintain a balanced cash drawer and reconcile daily transactions according to company procedures and regulatory guidelines.
- Greet customers warmly, identify their needs, and provide information about various banking products and services.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve minor issues or refer complex problems to appropriate personnel.
- Adhere strictly to all banking laws, regulations, and internal policies, including those related to anti-money laundering (AML) and 'know your customer' (KYC) protocols.
- Ensure compliance with all security procedures to protect both the bank and its customers.
- Promote a positive and professional image of the bank at all times.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures of the branch, including vault duties and ATM balancing.
- Maintain confidentiality of all customer information and transactions.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve branch goals and enhance overall customer experience.
