Key Responsibilities

  • Assist senior scientists and researchers in conducting laboratory experiments and tests.
  • Prepare samples for analysis, ensuring accuracy, proper labeling, and adherence to protocols.
  • Perform routine calibration, cleaning, and maintenance of laboratory equipment (e.g., pH meters, centrifuges, spectrophotometers).
  • Accurately record and document experimental data, observations, and results in laboratory notebooks and digital systems.
  • Maintain organized laboratory workspaces, ensuring cleanliness and proper storage of materials.
  • Adhere strictly to all laboratory safety regulations, Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Order and manage laboratory supplies and reagents, monitoring inventory levels.
  • Assist with data entry and basic analysis of experimental results.

Required Skills

  • Strong foundational knowledge in a relevant scientific discipline (e.g., Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry).
  • Excellent attention to detail and meticulous record-keeping abilities.
  • Basic proficiency in laboratory techniques and equipment handling.
