Career.zycto is seeking a highly creative and skilled Video Editor & Content Creation Specialist to join our vibrant marketing team in Nandi County. This pivotal role involves conceptualizing, shooting, editing, and producing high-quality video content that resonates with our target audience and elevates our brand presence. As our Video Editor & Content Creation Specialist, you will be responsible for the entire video production lifecycle. This includes brainstorming initial concepts with the marketing team, developing detailed storyboards, scouting locations, operating camera equipment, conducting interviews, and performing advanced post-production tasks such as editing, motion graphics, color grading, and sound design. You will be expected to transform raw footage into captivating narratives that align with our brand identity and marketing objectives. Key Responsibilities
- Conceptualize, storyboard, shoot, and edit high-quality video content for various digital platforms, including social media, website, and marketing campaigns.
- Manage the entire video production process from pre-production planning (scripting, talent coordination, location scouting) to post-production (editing, sound design, color correction, motion graphics).
- Collaborate with marketing, design, and content teams to ensure video content aligns with overall brand strategy and campaign objectives.
- Maintain and organize a comprehensive digital library of video assets, ensuring easy accessibility and proper archiving.
- Stay updated on the latest video editing software, equipment, and content creation trends to continuously improve production quality and efficiency.
- Ensure all video content adheres to brand guidelines, legal requirements, and best practices for accessibility and engagement.
- Analyze video performance metrics and provide insights to optimize future content strategies.
Required Skills
- Proven proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro.
- Strong understanding of video production principles, including cinematography, lighting, and audio recording.
- Demonstrable experience with motion graphics, visual effects, and color grading techniques.
