Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive musculoskeletal, neurological, and functional assessments to diagnose conditions.
- Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans tailored to patient needs and goals.
- Administer a wide range of therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy, exercise prescription, electrotherapy, and ergonomic advice.
- Educate patients and their families on their conditions, treatment progress, and self-management techniques.
- Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adapting treatment plans as necessary to optimize recovery.
- Maintain accurate, detailed, and confidential patient records in compliance with data protection regulations.
- Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure integrated patient care.
- Participate in clinical meetings, case conferences, and contribute to team-based decision making.
- Adhere strictly to professional ethical guidelines, health and safety standards, and clinic policies.
- Engage in continuous professional development activities and specialized training to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
Required Skills
- State-recognized Physiotherapist qualification (Staatsexamen als Physiotherapeut/in) or equivalent recognized in Germany.
- Full licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physiotherapist in Germany.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience in an outpatient or inpatient setting.
- Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in German (B2/C1 level minimum) and fluent in English.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and empathy skills for patient interaction.
- Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Demonstrated commitment to evidence-based practice and patient-centered care.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage a diverse caseload efficiently.
Preferred Qualifications
- Specialization or advanced certifications in areas such as manual therapy, sports physiotherapy, neurorehabilitation, or lymphatic drainage.
- Experience with specific rehabilitation software or electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Previous experience mentoring junior staff or supervising interns.
- Knowledge of an additional foreign language is a plus.
