Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers with a friendly and welcoming attitude, providing information on available produce.
- Accurately handle cash and mobile money transactions, process payments, and provide correct change.
- Arrange and restock fruit displays attractively, ensuring optimal presentation and visual appeal.
- Monitor fruit quality and freshness throughout the day, removing any spoiled or damaged items promptly.
- Maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of the fruit stall area, including display units and surrounding floors.
- Provide basic product information to customers, such as origin, ripeness, and storage tips.
- Assist with inventory checks, stock rotation, and receiving new deliveries of produce.
- Adhere strictly to all food safety and hygiene regulations to ensure product integrity.
- Contribute to a positive team environment by assisting colleagues and participating in daily tasks.
Required Skills
- Basic numeracy skills for handling cash and making simple calculations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact politely with diverse customers.
