Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement engaging, user-friendly interfaces (UI) for web applications and websites, ensuring a consistent brand experience.
  • Develop wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and sitemaps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
  • Translate UI/UX design wireframes to actual code that produces visual elements of the application, ensuring technical feasibility.
  • Collaborate with product management and engineering to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals, and user experience.
  • Conduct user research and evaluate user feedback to improve and enhance existing designs, ensuring a data-driven approach to design decisions.
  • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability, and ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsiveness across devices.

Required Skills

  • Proven working experience as a Web Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing UI/UX, frontend development, and user flow projects.
  • Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript, including modern frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
  • Expertise in UI design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch.
  • Solid understanding of user-centred design principles, responsive design, and web accessibility standards.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Web Design, Graphic Design, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience with animation libraries and advanced CSS techniques.
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices and how they relate to web design.
