Job Description

As a Full-Time Audiologist at Career.zycto in Köpenick, Berlin, you will play a pivotal role in transforming the lives of our patients by providing comprehensive and compassionate audiological services. Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive audiological evaluations, including pure-tone audiometry, speech audiometry, immittance, and otoacoustic emissions.
  • Diagnose and manage hearing loss, tinnitus, and balance disorders across various age groups.
  • Select, fit, dispense, and program a wide range of hearing aids and other assistive listening devices.
  • Provide patient counseling, education, and follow-up care regarding hearing health, communication strategies, and device maintenance.
  • Perform hearing aid repairs, adjustments, and modifications as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with clinical and regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated patient care.
  • Participate in continuous professional development and training to stay current with audiological advancements.

Required Skills

  • Master's or Doctorate degree in Audiology (M.Sc. or Au.D.) from an accredited program.
  • State licensure/certification to practice Audiology in Germany (e.g., Approbation or equivalent).
  • Minimum of 2 years of professional experience as an Audiologist.
  • Proficiency in administering and interpreting a full range of audiological tests.
  • Experience with various hearing aid manufacturers and programming software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with strong patient empathy.
  • Fluency in German (C1 level or higher) and proficiency in English.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with advanced diagnostic equipment such as VNG/ENG or ABR.
  • Specialization or certification in specific areas like pediatric audiology, tinnitus management, or vestibular assessment.
  • Familiarity with clinical management software and electronic health records.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
