Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, execute, and maintain comprehensive test plans and test cases for new features and existing functionalities.
  • Perform various types of testing, including functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies using our bug tracking system.
  • Collaborate closely with development teams, product managers, and business analysts to understand project requirements and provide effective feedback.
  • Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives within an Agile development framework.
  • Conduct thorough product reviews and provide constructive feedback on usability, design, and overall user experience.
  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of test automation scripts, contributing to an efficient testing pipeline.
  • Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance product quality and release efficiency.
  • Ensure all software releases meet predefined quality standards and project requirements.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in manual software testing and quality assurance.
  • Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
  • Proficiency in designing and executing detailed test cases and test plans.
  • Experience with defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps) and test management systems.
  • Excellent analytical skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical issues clearly and concisely.
  • Familiarity with web and mobile application testing.
  • Basic knowledge of SQL for database validation.
  • Problem-solving aptitude and a passion for continuous learning.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience with automated testing frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright).
  • Understanding of performance and security testing principles.
  • ISTQB certification or equivalent.
  • Experience working with CI/CD pipelines.
