Job Description

Career.zycto is seeking a highly dedicated and resilient Corrections Officer to join a critical public service team in Milbertshofen, Munich. Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and monitor inmate activities, ensuring compliance with institutional rules and regulations.
  • Conduct regular security checks of cells, common areas, and inmate property to prevent contraband and maintain a safe environment.
  • Perform inmate counts and verify identities accurately.
  • Escort inmates within the facility, to court appearances, medical appointments, or other authorized locations.
  • Respond effectively to emergencies, disturbances, and conflicts, employing de-escalation techniques and appropriate physical interventions when necessary.
  • Prepare detailed and accurate reports on inmate behavior, incidents, and daily activities.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with inmates, colleagues, and external agencies.
  • Enforce disciplinary actions fairly and consistently according to established procedures.
  • Participate in training programs to maintain proficiency in security procedures, self-defense, and first aid.
  • Contribute to the rehabilitation process by supporting programs and promoting positive behavior among inmates.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills (German required).
